Odonnell
Wins 1st Bookie Pool Title!
In yet another dramatic bookie pool finish, Philly's late touchdown
propelled Peter Odonnell to a come-from-behind
win over Larry Allen, who failed in his bid to
earn his 2nd Bookie Pool title. Two-time winner Paul Lilly
secured 2nd place despite missing his pick. Neal Faussett
won 3rd place for the 2nd year in a row, backing in to 3rd despite
missing his pick. Your esteemed commissioner secured
4th place despite missing his pick! Here's the Final
Standings and Career Statistics.
In an unusual situation, Al Buddy won 3rd place
for the week despite losing $100 and finishing the season with a
big goose egg! His tie-breaker was enough to propel him to the impressive
weekly 3rd place prize of $5.00.

One Hall of Fame record changed
hands: for best career tie-breaker aggregate average, Dino
Desantis passed Tim Sannes (10.46/game).
Several Hall of Lame records were
set: for longest losing streak, Kevin Hale (12
games). For worst tie-breaker differential on a game, Paul
Lilly (68 - remember the Cleveland-Cincy game?!). Despite
this single-game futility record, Don Sniffin still
had a worse tie-breaker average over the season than Paul! Speaking
of Don, he passed Pat Mundy for
worst career winning percentage (.334). No doubt Pat is devastated
by this development!
Bill Willis remains the pool's biggest financial
donator! He has contributed a grand total of $294.00 hard cold cash
to our coffers! Let's have another round of applause for Mr
Bill Willis! (click here).
